Pointing to everything with your pointer finger.

Dearest Jolie,

You sweet little munchkin.  This was such a big month for you, you have learned so much this month!  You are all over the place, crawling at super speed, cruising the furniture and walking on your push walker all over the house.  You are at the ultimate stage five clinger phase! I remember this with your sister and it driving me nuttsssss! But- I now know it is short lived and soon enough I will have to beg you to stop playing and come love on me.  You do not like me to be out of your sight, and most of the time me being in your sight is not even enough for you.  You are constantly wanting to be held, and constantly on my leg begging to be picked up if I am trying to do something.  Household chores have become quite difficult to say the least ;)

You are a sassy little thing!  You have totally developed a little attitude and know exactly what you want.  You are super impatient for your food and are basically screeching like a banshee from your highchair for more!  When you don't want to be put down you stretch your legs out super straight so I cannot sit you down...and when I then lay you down, cue the water works and leg kicking!  I used to think you were going to be my quiet shy one..but hmmm...maybe not haha.

Your love for your sister continues to grow even more with each passing month.  You love to follow her around, you love to study each thing she is doing and then do it too!  You like to brush baby dolls hair with her or brush her hair with your brush.  You like to color with your own crayon next to her, roll cars with her...you name it.  Whatever she is doing you are right next to her trying to do the exact same thing.  There are finally becoming times where I can sit down in a chair outside or on the couch and watch you two just play and entertain each other...and I get real excited about that only becoming more and more regular.
You guys are constantly hugging and kissing and it always reassures me that giving Brynn a sibling was the best thing decision I ever made.

You have the sweetest personality.  You love to snuggle, love hugs, love to give the biggest open mouth sugars.  You are alwayssss smiling.  You love to be out and about and are the best errand buddy.  Just quiet as a mouse taking in the world around you.  You are always studying everything so closely.

We love you our little bit!
XOXO Mommy & Daddy

Life Lately....a little catch up!

Life has been busy busy and thus this little blog has been put on the back burner, but thats ok...I have been enjoying all the time with these growing girlies.  Well, almost all the time! haha.  Steve has been working lots and lots of hours lately...which has majorly upped my work load!  Friday was actually the first day I have left the kids for a single minute in over a month!!!!  Mama was overdue...and majorly needed the recharge.  So after some lunch and shopping with my mama, I feel like a new woman.

So!  What have we been up to around here!  Although, the days seem to all be running into each other and often times feels like we do the same things all the time, looking through my camera roll shows me...in fact...a lot has been going on in this family of ours.

Lets do this list style...

1) Brynn got a little hair cut!  I swore I would never ever cut her hair!!! But here we are three years later and never having a trim she was in desperate need of some evening out of those first baby hairs! And I mean the teeniest tiniest of trims. I am not a hair stylist by any means but for some reason I have always cut peoples hair!  I cut my husbands hair every week, my best friends hair many of times....I even cut our dogs hair.  Sooo, I decided to be the one to give Brynn her first little trim!  She was actually quite excited about it and was super cute and still for the whole ordeal and even let me blow it out afterwards :)

2) It is hotter than hot here in sunny south Florida so we have been doing all things to keep cool!  Swimming in our pool, the splash pad...the water hose..downing watermelon, you name it!
It totally passes the time and makes for the best afternoon naps!

3) We celebrated Memorial Day.  The girls dressed in their patriotic best of course.  We did a flag craft and let Brynn watch some videos to learn about the holiday.  Then we had friends and family over for a bbq.

4) Jolie!  Where do I even start with this wild woman!  She turns 10 months next week and so I will be doing her monthly update then, but this little lady is doing all the things.  Walking along furniture, walking with the walkers and push toys, crawling up the furniture and officially done with purees and eating all the big people food she can get her grubby hands on.

5) Church...we have started back going to church and it makes my heart oh so happy!  Steve and I used to go to church every single weekend when dating and first married.  It wasn't until after Brynn that we stopped going.  I am totally a nervous nellie when it comes to leaving my children with other people....especiallyyyyy people I do not know. These girls are always with me and their only babysitter is my mama.  We decided to change churches to a smaller more family oriented one where we have several friends who trust the nursery and Sunday school.  After lots of prayer I took the leap and after three weeks things are going really well.  We love it, Brynn lovessss the Sunday school...and it has made me feel complete again.  Not to mention, my mama heart could explode seeing Brynn go to her little class and learn about Jesus with her friends.

Well, thats that.  Lots of this and that.  Hopefully I can get my act together over here and find some energy during nap time or after these kids are in bed to get more religious about my blogging over here.
