Fathers Day Weekend

We started the weekend off with a mama & daddy night out.  We don't do this often, maybe once a month if that.  Our good friends are moving to Hawaii next week, so it was a nice last night out with the gang.  It was a bittersweet night, but we really enjoyed the alone time.

Fathers day we let daddy sleep in.  He is normally the one who pops outta bed and makes our coffee and breakfast, so it was his day to be pampered.
French toast with all the fixin's was on the menu.  Whipped cream, strawberries, bananas and nutella. Yum Yum.

Even Brynn got in on the dipping action.  We have been practicing with ketchup and she really has the concept down pat.  Except for when she takes the same piece back out of her mouth ten thousand times to re-dip it.  But hey, we don't hate on double dipping in this house.

We spent the
evening at Grammie & Papa's house for dinner, drinks and dessert.
& of course lots of baby attention.

We came home & then per daddy's only request of the day...had ice cream.
Now that I think about it, we pretty much ate our way through father's day weekend. Oh well.

Anywho...
This daddy of ours...
He is the best girl daddy in town.
He is the best outfit chooser,
bow-picker-outter,
tea party throwin',
Pig tail lovin'
man I know..
& we just adore him.

Our weekend.

We live for the weekends around here. Major.
Tons of family time, play time, outdoor time.

Saturday we popped up and decided to hit the beach.  We were able to pack and get ready all before the little miss ever woke up.  Straight to her swim suit and in the car she went with her bag of dry cereal and milk.

We got there pretty early, for us anyways..and spent about three hours there.  It was the picture perfect beach day.  No clouds, flat water. Ahhh perfection.

Gone are the days of baking in the sun for hours, they have now been replaced with being crawled all over and covered in sand.  But hey.  That's ok.  I still love it.  Brynn loves it too.  Win Win.

Long beach days, call for long naps and thats a win win too.

We spent our evenings playing out back, blowing bubbles and having porch picnics.

And when all the fun is said and done..its finally bed time.

Mama & Dada crank up the country tunes, pour some dranky dranks and chill on the patio.
We fancy.
