29 weeks

How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain: up 17 lbs
Maternity clothes? finally bought some maternity jeans and jean shorts and a couple of tops.  Don't know what I was waiting for...SO much more comfy!
Stretch marks? none yet
Sleep: falling asleep is still pretty easy.  Takes awhile to turn from one side to the other and up a couple of times a night to go to the bathroom.
Best moment this week:
having a three day weekend! thank you President's Day!
Miss Anything? I miss a lot of things..moving around comfortably, a nice drink, being skinny..seeing my feet haha!  But this whole experience has been pretty amazing, I will definitely miss it when its all said and done.
Movement: still lots of movement.. found out at our doc appt this week that she is in the head down position.  So funny now to know which movements are her hands and her feet.
Food cravings: Fruit and sweets.  All this Valentines candy is not helping!
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope
Gender: Girl

Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: overall feeling pretty great, other than lots of pressure in my belly as it continues to grow & some pain in my hips & ribs.
Belly Button in or out? in and flat
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: Had a roller coaster of emotions this week... but so very happy. Looking forward to: closing on the new house soon.  Steve's birthday.  Decorating little girls nursery soon.

The past two weeks have been pretty uneventful.  I am definitely getting bigger and although that is totally normaly...I am trying my best to fight the major weight gain that can happen in these last two weeks.  I have been going 3 to 4 times a week to the pool to swim laps and it feels good to be active.  Being on my feet all day and chasing 5 year olds around is definitely starting to get tiring.  Not going to lie that I have a countdown going on til maternity leave.

In other news failed my glucose test this past week and had to go back on my day off today to get the three hour version done.  After three hours and 5 needle sticks later I am all good to go.  Hoping for some good results tomorrow.  It is getting harder to move around at normal speed and I often find myself breathing like a hefer!!!

I also have just been one big ball of emotions.  Not a lot of patience for people these days..and on the other end I cry very easily.  Even at commercials.  Let's take a minute to talk about last week for example.  Steve and I were getting ready to meet some friends for dinner.  I already had my outfit all planned out in my head and I was looking everywhere for my trusty leggings.  Pretty much the only thing I wear these days...and I could not find them anywhere.  I was already hot and flustered and had everyone looking for them when I decided to look under the bed.  That is when I found them..RIPPED to shreds.  Thank you Lilly.  Everyone pretty much evacuated the room immediately to stay clear of the storm.  I did recover and later even admitted to Steve that I realized my hormones have been crazy these past weeks.  And bless his heart, in his most sincere voice he looked at me and said " I'm glad you realized that."  And with that...I spent the whole next day shopping for maternity clothes.
